Ghost
Independent technology for modern publishing, memberships, subscriptions and newsletters.
A focused publishing platform: a genuinely good editor, fast pages, memberships and email newsletters built in. Where WordPress is a general-purpose CMS you shape into a site, Ghost is a site for writing and already is one.

- Create the owner account at /ghost on the first visit, before anyone else reaches it
- The public URL must be right before you publish anything: Ghost writes it into every post's links and into newsletter emails, and changing it later means rewriting content
- Newsletters need a Mailgun account. Without one the members feature works and the sending half quietly does not
