Gotify
Your own push notifications
A notification server with an Android app. Anything that can make an HTTP request can send you a push — a backup script, a cron job, Uptime Kuma, a doorbell. No Firebase, no third party, and nothing about what your house is doing leaves the network.

Open the dashboard, go to Apps, press Add on it and apply the change. Or from a terminal on the box:

Open it at your box's address with that port — the dashboard links to it directly once it is running.
Good to know
- Create an application in the UI to get a token, then post to /message?token=... from anything. One line of curl is a working notification
- Uptime Kuma has Gotify as a built-in notification type — point it at this server and paste the token
- The Android app polls over websocket and needs to reach this address, so from outside the house it wants the VPN or a tunnel
