AdGuard Home
Network-wide ads & trackers blocking DNS server
AdGuard Home is a network-wide software for blocking ads and tracking. After you set it up, it'll cover ALL your home devices, and you don't need any client-side software for that.

dnsInstalling it
Open the dashboard, go to Apps, press Add on it and apply the change. Or from a terminal on the box:
sudo homebox install dns
Where to open it
| Service | Port | First login |
|---|---|---|
| AdGuard Home | :3053 | The first visit runs a setup wizard on port 3054 where you create the admin account. |
Open it at your box's address with that port — the dashboard links to it directly once it is running.
Good to know
- Port 53 must be free first. On Debian check
ss -lntup | grep :53— if systemd-resolved holds it, set DNSStubListener=no in /etc/systemd/resolved.conf and restart it - Setup wizard runs on 3054 the first time, then the UI lives on 3053
- Add a DNS rewrite for *.home pointing at this box and every Podhouse address resolves house-wide
